Q. Can I BYO food and drinks?

Yes. You are welcome to BYO food and drinks. The BYO fee is included in the rate for all our vessels. All vessels have a BBQ onboard and the crew will cook any food you bring with you. We provide disposable eating ware (plates, cutlery etc), disposable glasses, platters and BBQ utensils. All vessels have eskies onboard and you can BYO ice or we can provide it for $5.00 a bag by pre-arrangement.

Q. Can I order catering or do I have to BYO?

Yes. You are welcome to order catering and menus are available from $15.00 per person for a basic sausage sizzle with a range of different options and price points to suit every budget & taste. All menus can be adapted for dietary requirements such as gluten free, dairy free & vegan etc.

Q. Is there a BBQ/ eskies onboard?

Yes. There are BBQ’s and eskies onboard all our vessels.

Q. Is drinking water included?

No. Drinking water is not included. All drinks are BYO including drinking water unless pre-arranged.

Q. Is ice provided?

No. All ice is BYO unless pre-ordered from ourselves for $5.00 a bag. 

We recommend 1 bag ice for Cutting Loose, 4 bags ice for Woorabinda/Seascape, 6 - 8 bags ice for Champagne Sailing. 

Q. Can I drop off supplies prior to the charter?

This can sometimes be arranged if the schedule for the vessel you have booked allows it. Dried foods and drinks can be dropped at the office in Clontarf the day before your charter. Please contact the office if you would like to discuss if this is possible for your charter. 

Q. Are there any water toys onboard?

Yes. There are SUP’s and a lillypad which are available to hire by pre-arrangement for $50.00 each.

Q. Where can I get picked up from?

We pick up from a variety of wharves within Sydney Harbour, as well as Middle Harbour and Manly. A full list of wharf locations can be viewed on the pickup locations page. We arrange a convenient wharf and pick up time with the organiser at the time of booking. Wharf fees are included in our rates.

Q. Are the pick up times shown in the calendar flexible?

Depending on the vessel schedule on the day, there is some flexibility in the pick up times. We normally offer a lunchtime charter with pick up anytime from around 11am - 1pm and an evening charter from around 5.30pm/6pm subject to availability.

However we can also organise sunrise/early morning bookings, as well as mid afternoon departures if the vessel and schedule allow such as during low season/midweek. Please contact us if you would like to cruise at an alternative time to those advertised. 

Q. What happens if we are late on the day?

As with any booked event if you are late on the day this will unfortunately cut into your time onboard the vessel. Often the vessel will have another booking after yours and the wharves will have been booked. We are unable to change wharf bookings on the day so please ensure your group are at the wharf and ready to depart on time. We suggest arriving at the wharf 15 mins prior to the departure time to ensure that everyone is ready to get onboard and departs promptly! 

Q. What should I wear on the boat?

We suggest comfortable clothing and footwear that allows you to move around the boat freely and safely and also recommend dressing appropriate to the weather on the day. Heels are not allowed onboard. Remember to bring a warm jumper/jacket in case it gets cool as well as swimmers and a towel if you would like to enjoy a dip whilst anchored.

Q. Will I be able to swim during the charter?

Yes. We always anchor during daylight charters and guests have the opportunity to swim off the boat if desired. Please BYO swimmers and towels.

Q. Can I smoke onboard?

Yes. The Crew will advise you of the appropriate smoking location onboard each vessel.

Q. What is your COVID policy

If your booking is affected by any new government restrictions (i) directly affecting our operations, or (ii) affecting your travel plans due to border closures or community lockdowns resulting in you being unable to attend our events, we are offering a reschedule of your event to a new date, subject to availability within a 6 month period, with event details like for like.

Whilst onboard we are adhering to any current government restrictions and advice and have a current COVID safety plan in use at all times. You will be required to check in using our QR code and hand sanitiser is readily available on all vessels. 

Q. Can I have a DJ/live music onboard?

Yes. We love DJ’s and live music! A generator is required for both which can be arranged through us or you can BYO. Please do let us know prior to your charter if you plan to bring one. 

Q. Is there a sound system onboard?

Yes. There is a stereo onboard all our vessels with speakers around the boat. The stereos are all Bluetooth and AUX connectivity. 

Q. Are there showers onboard/ anywhere to get changed?

Yes. There are deck showers on all our vessels to hose off after swimming. There are bathrooms on all our vessels for a quick change, however there are no changing rooms available.
