We Love Love!!!
Whoever said Romance is Dead??!! Since establishing Champagne Sailing over ten years ago I have continuously been amazed at the beautiful things people do for each other. So much thought and effort goes into a lot of our charters – the Romantic overnight packages where couples will request a certain meal or wine that they know is their lovers favorite, or the proposal packages where hours will be spent creating YouTube videos of time the couple have spent together or iTunes playlists of favorite songs, decorating the boat with heaps of framed photos of amazing memories the couples have had together. And it’s not just the couples that show love to each other, it’s the groups of friends who pull off a surprise 40th, flying in friends and siblings from overseas, or the 70th birthday surprise celebrations for parents , or the surprise Hen Do’s where everyone coordinates outfits & best friends are flown in unexpectedly from Interstate. These kind of charters are always our favorite, and really shows us that Romance and love are definitely alive and kicking, and the vibe is always so special when best friends, families and gorgeous couples get together!!
Sydney Harbour is an awesome playground for families and friends to get together, and it is also the perfect Romantic location to really spoil a loved one. The iconic sights of the Sydney Opera House, and Harbour Bridge are perfect for those postcard perfect pictures, and ‘just engaged’ Insta shots!
Sailing Sydney Harbour is the perfect way to see the Harbour – you can see all the world famous sights, and then enjoy time away from the crowds in a secluded bay, enjoying multi million dollar views, whilst swimming in clear blue – green waters. It doesn’t get any better!! Well..add the French champagne and some delicious cheese and that would make it even better!!
Proposals are our speciality!
Each year we are involved in countless proposals (so far so good with a 100% success rate!), and each one is always so special and unique. We have lots of couples travelling together who have decided that Sydney is THE destination to pop the big question and we love to help all our clients to plan and organise the day and the best way to ask the question.
There is no ‘one size fits all’ approach as each of our couples are so different, so we always suggest to think about ‘what is special for your partner, and what will make their memory special’?. Whether it’s putting all the sails up for a vigorous sail down the Harbour, followed by a swim and an underwater proposal, to a gentle motor around the Opera House then anchoring for THE best view, THE best champagne and THE best oysters enjoyed onboard, we love to help plan out the day, and can mostly organise whatever our clients heart desires!!
